Rudyard Kipling
Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was a British writer and poet known for his works celebrating British imperialism and his vivid storytelling. Born in Bombay, India, he spent much of his early life in India, which influenced many of his writings.
Achievements:
• The Jungle Book (1894) – A collection of stories featuring Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves, and other iconic animal characters.
• Nobel Prize in Literature (1907) – He was the first English-language writer to receive the award and remains one of the youngest recipients.
• Kim (1901) – A novel set in British India, showcasing espionage and adventure.
• Just So Stories (1902) – A collection of imaginative tales for children.
• If— (1910) – A famous poem offering advice on resilience and character.
